Our leadership board combines former managers and senior employees from Citrix, Microsoft and Capital Outsourcing. Each individual has more than 15 years of multinational experience in leading business or technical teams for delivering enterprise solutions across several industries.
Khalil Harfouche CEO

Khalil Harfouche is the CEO of CODE. He leads the CODE vision and is responsible of the company’s overall strategy and market direction. He inspires the company’s core values and corporate culture that emphasizes integrity, respect and a high degree of business ethics. CODE was born out of Khalil’s dream of gathering an elite team of IT and business professionals across the region to establish a company with a big ambition – to become the top IT consulting firm in the Middle East and Africa, providing IT and business solutions for the “Cloud & Mobility” era.
Khalil started his career in the IT field about 20 years ago in a multinational organization; he then joined Capital Outsourcing as Operations' Director. After that, he was appointed General Manager of Capital Outsourcing Consulting Services where he achieved a significant growth and geographical expansion in the Middle East, Gulf and Africa.
Khalil has actively contributed to the development of the Cloud Computing concept in the Middle East and Africa and was a key-speaker in many regional conferences, mostly organized by Microsoft. He has also many published articles about cloud computing and SaaS. With his strategy consulting and his background in business and IT, he helped many large organizations (namely in the telco and government sectors) in successfully launching their large or complex cloud-based initiatives.
When he’s not busy driving CODE’s vision forward, Khalil engages in many social and environmental activities and is a founder-member of many NGOs. He is also a university lecturer in MIS and eCommerce.
Khalil holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Saint Joseph University in Beirut and is also certified on PRINCE2 project management foundation.
Elie Irani Director, Consulting Services

Elie manages and sets the overall services strategy at CODE. As a customer focused consulting professional with more than 18 years of experience in the IT industry, Elie is proficient in enterprise solution consulting, business development, team management, service delivery and engagement management. He has a particularly strong command of Virtualization (Infrastructure and VDI), Enterprise Mobility Management and Cloud technologies.
Before joining CODE, Elie has worked with Citrix Systems in Dubai from 2006 to 2014 where he played several roles, last of which was managing consulting services and the consulting team for the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. He’s been involved in several large-scale strategic Citrix projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, UK, Switzerland, Sweden, Greece, Turkey and Singapore, with customers from telecom operators, banking & finance, oil & gas, logistics to education and government organizations.
Prior to that, Elie was a technology consultant at TRINEC in Beirut where he spent 5 years designing and implementing Microsoft and Citrix solutions across the region. As a certified instructor, he also delivered several Microsoft and Citrix official training curriculums for IT professionals in various accredited training centers in Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus.
Elie holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Saint Joseph University in Beirut and is certified on PRINCE2 project management foundation.
Mario Abou Jaoude Architect & Consulting Practice Manager

Mario is the lead cloud architect and manages the Microsoft consulting practice at CODE. With more than 15 years of experience in the IT field – namely in solution consulting, team leadership, pre-sales and service delivery – he is an avid practitioner of the Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF). His areas of specialty include virtualization (Hyper-V), messaging and collaboration (Exchange, SharePoint), Unified Communications (Lync) as well as cloud infrastructure, provisioning and automation (System Center, Microsoft Azure and Ensim).
Before joining CODE, Mario has worked with Capital Outsourcing Consulting Services in Beirut for about 4 years where he was managing the systems engineering team. As a senior technology consultant, he has also been involved in the design and implementation of several large-scale Microsoft projects across the region (Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait) namely for telecom operators, hosting providers, education and government organizations. From a pre-sales perspective, he was the accredited Microsoft Partner Seller and the presales representative for Ensim in the Middle East.
In life before Capital Outsourcing, Mario worked as a technology consultant at Procomix for about 8 years, delivering datacenter and infrastructure solutions.
Mario holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information and Technology from MECAT University in Beirut and is certified on ITIL v3 foundation.
Serge Abi Raad Business Development Manager

As a business development manager, Serge is responsible for the development and implementation of revenue growth plans at CODE. He drives the company’s sales strategy while uncovering new opportunities through market research and analysis that help grow the company’s business. With more than 15 years of work experience, ranging from support engineering up to consultancy, project delivery to account management, Serge is a highly motivated IT professional with a strong technical background and a seasoned project manager with experience in design, implementation and management of IT projects and initiatives.
Before joining CODE, Serge was leading the project management office at Capital Outsourcing in Lebanon with a solid track-record of successful large-scale cloud services project implementations across the region, all of them delivered with a high degree of customer satisfaction and completed within budget. Before that, Serge was based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he managed several large-scale projects.
Earlier in his career, Serge has worked as a service desk manager and as implementation and support engineer specializing in Microsoft infrastructure technologies and Cisco networking.
Serge holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with an emphasis in Communications from the Lebanese American University in Byblos. He is also PMP, ITIL v3, Microsoft MCSA and Cisco CCNA certified.
